John K. Hepburn

John Hepburn received his BSE in Engineering from Princeton University in 1972, and followed this with an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1974.

John is a Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley.

During his time he has worked on numerous deals, some of the more well-known being the following: The merger of Asea and Brown Boveri into ABB; the restructuring of Investor AB, including the sale of Alfa Laval AB to Tetra Pak; the restructuring of AB Volvo and Metro International; the Demutualisation of Trygg Hansa; the buy-out of Saab-Scania; the merger of Investor and Providentia; as well as the public offerings of Scania AB, LM Ericsson, Pharmacia AB amongst others.

Amongst some of his other activities, John is Chairman of Sportfact (Guildford Flames); Vice Chairman of UKRD Limited (UK Radio); a Trustee of Lakefield College School; a member of the Advisory Council of the Bendheim Centre for Finance (Princeton University); Chairman of Gelato and a member of the Board of Directors of Molnlycke Health Care and the Grand Hotel in Stockholm.
