EQT PRI Transparency Report 2016/17 now available

It is a pleasure to announce that EQT, for the fourth consecutive year, has filed its Responsible Investment Transparency Report according to the PRI Reporting Framework.

The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an international network of investors working together to ensure that environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues are given appropriate consideration in the investment process. The United Nations-supported PRI Initiative was initiated in 2005, and by early 2017, nearly 1,700 investment managers, asset owners and service providers have become signatories.

EQT is a strong promoter of responsible investment/ownership practices and increased transparency in the private equity and financial industry. As the first Nordic private equity firm, EQT became a signatory to the PRI in December 2010. As a signatory, it is mandatory to report on progress towards implementing the Principles. EQT, being a strong promoter of transparency, has decided to make all of its responses in the report publicly available, just like previous years.

The EQT RI Transparency Report 2016/17 is avaliable here.

EQT's Responsible Investment team

EQT has a dedicated Responsible Investment team that supports the firm in its continuous integration of RI/ESG matters. This includes promoting awareness internally, supporting EQT's investment advisory teams in their engagement efforts with portfolio companies on sustainability matters as well as engaging with external stakeholders. The activities are led by Therése Lennehag, Head of Responsible Investment, in close liaison with Thomas von Koch, Managing Partner and CEO, to whom the Head of RI reports.
